Fringe Movie Poster Contest (Relaunch)

Hello Fringedom!

We're happy to see that you enjoyed the Fringe Anniversary Party! We want to thank you for attending the re-watch of the Pilot episode and participating in the cool Fringe trivia!

On The Fringe Again has been working hard since then to make the next Fringe event a fun one: A CONTEST! Yes, a contest with judges, prizes and everything! For this contest what we want you to do is to design your own Fringe movie poster!

Fringe fans have proven to be very talented when it comes to fan art, we all remember that from the old Fringenuity days and we'd love to see you in action again. Whatever your creativity level, we'd love you to make a poster of YOUR Fringe movie.

Comedy? Drama? Action-packed? Adventure? Romantic? Terror? Thriller? Cartoon? All genres are allowed and all forms of artwork are accepted meaning drawings, photo edits, digital art or even a painting. It doesn't matter what your skill level is or how you choose to make your poster, all that matters is that you participate and have fun doing it!

Our panel of judges will select a winner and he/she will be awarded with an awesome Fringe related prize!
So be sure to be as original & creative as you possibly can!

All submissions must be e-mailed to: onthefringeagain@gmail.com by the deadline on October 16th. Also be sure to include your name and twitter handle in the e-mail.

The winner will be announced the following Fringe Friday, October 23rd. But before any announcement is made, we're doing a re-watch of "Brown Betty"! We will watch the episode at 8pm-est with announcement of the contest winner at 9pm-est.
We can't think of a better way to end this imaginative contest than with a "Brown Betty" re-watch! Seriously, we would pay to see that episode turned into an actual movie at the theater! (with Red Vines, underneath a rainbow, next to a singing corpse)

Here are a couple of sample posters to give you an idea to start working on your own poster ASAP!

We hope you have a good time with this contest and most of all have fun!

#ReimagineTheImposibilities

Hi Fringe Family!

Myself and some other fans have started this group in hopes of keeping the spirit of our beloved show from dying out. We plan to host twitter parties and other special events so be sure to follow us on twitter at @OnTheFringe365.

Speaking of Fringe events it has been 7 years since the pilot aired on September 9th, 2008 and we have decided to celebrate the occasion with a #ReimagineTheImpossibilities anniversary party!

Photo from a TV Guide Magazine article promoting the Fringe pilot in September 2008.

On September the 9th we will be using the hashtag #ReimagineTheImpossibilities for this celebration event so be sure to use it in all of your Fringe related tweets!

We will also be doing trivia based on the pilot through out the day starting at 12 noon (EST) in hopes that fans in all time zones can participate. It could also be a good time to brush up on your Fringe knowledge! ;)

Another thing we thought would be a fun idea for everyone is to make a 7 out of objects like: redvines, apples, bacon, dandelions or anything else Fringe related that you have on hand. Take a picture of it and post it during the event with the hashtag #ReimagineTheImpossibilities.

(I also think it would be really nice to tag the cast and Joel when you tweet the pics so they can feel the Fringe love too) <3

After all of the above, we will watch the pilot at 9pm-EST (via Netflix, Amazon or DVD's)
and don't forget to choose an icon for the event here: http://onthefringeagain.tumblr.com/icons

Ok...I think that covers everything.
Just remember that the passion we share for Fringe is the glue that holds our fandom together, and the only way for it to live on is through each and every one of us
so know that you are an important part in keeping the beauty of our show alive.
